About

Mothers Milk is a ritual candle, hand-wrapped in raw canvas and tied with red thread.

Crafted in small batches by Aubry Villaver Buhawe in New York City, every candle is composed with intention: poured, cut, wrapped, and sealed by hand. No mass production. Only process, texture, and care.

Drawing from her time as a perfumer’s apprentice, Aubry approaches scent as composition: layered, intimate, and emotional. The result is a candle that lives in the space between design and ritual — one that invites slowness, stillness, and touch.

Inspired by contemporary art, architecture, and the wrapped works of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Mothers Milk transforms the familiar into the sculptural.
It is made for those who live through art.
